While testing this items the following discovery was found: The item turns on and is in working order. When plugged in, the radio takes about 10 seconds to become audible. An issue with the sound became present immediately as the volume turns downs for the radio, but a static noise can be heard. This noise does not reduce in volume but is rather present the entire time with the volume being up or down. Tuning is working order and a station was able to transmit and play. This item was manufactured in 1946.
